Canada Certifies All Newer Gulfstream Jet Models to Defuse Trade Row

This certification comes after a period of delay and follows public comments from former U.S. President Donald Trump, who had criticized the Canadian regulator for the prolonged approval process. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration had previously indicated that Canada was expected to certify these aircraft soon.

This development potentially resolves a trade dispute between the U.S. and Canada concerning these specific aircraft models. Earlier reports indicated that Transport Canada had also certified Gulfstream's G500 and G600 jets.
